The Monster Catchers

Whether it's goblins of ghouls, fairies or trolls.

Bailey Buckleby and his dad are up for the monster-catching job---- for the right price that is. But Bailey discovers that his dad has been lying to him and begins to question the family business. Then, when a ciminal mastermind puts everyone and everything that Bailey loves into peril, it's up to him to save his family and set things right.

I got this copy of the Monster Catchers from Smith Publicity to review and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

The novel is catered more toward young readers, but being a tyound adult, I founf it easy and enjoyable read. I read it between a couple heavy books so it was a nice filler. It was light hearted, but packed with lots of adventure, laughs, and moments that kept me on the edge of my seat.

The novel touched on a middle school named Bailey who works in a shop with his father. This isn't any normal store however. In their secret "back room" they store monsters, creatures, and characters that we never though could exist. It's up to Bailey and his father to keep their community safe by hunting unwanted monsters.

I really liked the father-son relationship portrayed by Bailey and his father. They get along well and it was really refreshing to read through. I feel like Bailey and his father were a lot alike. They believed in justice and doing the right thing no matter what happens. Having strong morals is really important to them and I think is such an important message for young readers.

Thank you George Brewington and Smith Publicity for sending me this, I thoroughly enjoy it.
